The Jingle Pig

A couple of years ago my Mom and Dad gave Grant this Jingle Pig! It "snorts" the tune to jingle bells, walks around and even squeels when you pull his tail. Grant was terrified of it until this year! It's his very favorite Christmas "decoration". So much in fact that he brought it for his sharing day this week! I couldn't resist taking a video so Mom and Dad could see the legacy of the Jingle Pig!

Fall is in the air

Well, fall has finally arrived to the Inland Northwest! There is a chill in the air and the pumpkins are everywhere! Maggie has started walking which has been a huge source of entertainment through this cold spell. She's doing a great job and Grant brags to everyone that he taght her how! Grant has started preschool and Maggie has started co-op!! They both just LOVE to go. Grant has school 4 days a week and Maggie and I go to Co-op on Tuesdays! Grant is enjoying playing soccer as well!! Here are a few pics from the pumpkin patch!

Camp David

Peter, Grant Maggie and I were able to spend a weekend up in Ione. It was beautiful weather and despite Grant missing his cousins we had a fantastic time!

Summer

I cannot believe that summer is coming to an end. Grant starts pre-school next week! He'll go four days a week for 3 hours! Maggie and I will be starting co-op in September! We've moved into our new house and so far things have gone great! We have lots of projects to do but overall we are settling in! Here's a few picture highlights of the summer!

Hello Summer!

Holy smokes! I can't believe that Spring has come and gone and now we're on to summer! Grant had his last day of preschool today and will be going to vacation bible school next week! Grant, Maggie and I will start Kindermusik next week and we will squeeze in some swim lessons somewhere in there! Here are some pictures from May (Maggie's 1st b-day & our trip to IN)!

Tea Time

Our babysitter, Ashley, has moved back to Seattle to finish up her nursing degree! We miss her already! Last week we had a tea party to wish her a fond farewell! I have to tell you that Grant just adores Ashley as do Peter and I! What a blessing she has been to our family! We miss her already!

Happy Easter!

Despite the rain we had a wonderful Easter! We made it through mass this morning with nearly NO crying and then it was off to Aunt Bridgit's for a very lovely lunch! The Easter buny, of course, made a visit to our house and Grant was very excited to see the new "Handy Manny" tool box he's been wanting and Maggie got a new crawler toy that she's pretty pumped about! Mostly, it was FANTASTIC having Peter home for an entire day! It was a much needed family day!
